And all these, having gained approval through their faith,
did not receive what was promised, because God had provided something
better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect.

Hebrews 11:39-40 NASB
some by faith overcame and received the victory on earth
while others by faith saw the victory that has been won on the cross and
will receive even a better reward in heaven. by faith we believe that
God is a god of victory, He has won the day and we can trust in the
completedness and finality of the victory on the cross. giving us the
power to conquere sin and overcome death. let our hope be firm on the
victory that is in the Lord and live out a life of conquering faith.
