For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with
our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are,
yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the
throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in
time of need.
Jesus our priest was fully man as He was fully God and
faced temptations yet through grace prevailed over sin. and so fully
understanding our struggles and having overcome by the power of the
spirit, we know that He can and will extend His hand to help us when we
need Him. in Jesus demonstrated it was demonstrated that His power is
more than sufficient for us and we must depend on His grace in order to
live out a life of holiness that pleases Him.
